Dunoon School Hostel had their annual show ‘Hostel’s Got Talent 2017’ on Tuesday 5th December.  The Christmas themed hall was packed with parents, staff and young people.

First on was Josh and Tristan with a confident and well rehearsed start to the show. They introduced the other hosts Jamie and Archie who provided an explosive start to the show along with Ellie and Kara. The Judges, Lady Gaga, Barbie & HR The Queen were given a musical intro before the hard task began. The acts that followed were ‘The Nutcracker Comedy’, starring Findlay, Mary, Robert, Michael & Kane;  Jody & Lauren singing the number one hit ‘Havana’; Jola (Lara & Jodie) with two beautiful ballads ‘All of Me’ & ‘Somewhere Only You Know’; Kane with ‘Defying Gravity’ from the West-End hit Wicked and a powerful  rendition of the Adele number showcasing a terrific range in his vocals; Rory & Rowan with an amazing set on the pipes and Jamie & Archie with ‘Jailhouse Rock’ & Red Bone.

The Hosts did so well they had the audience laughing and joining in with their funny jokes and superb presenting skills. The winners were Jamie & Archie with Kane in second place. A fun night was had by all and the evening was a roaring success
