THE GIANT EGG INVESTIGATION

P1 and P2 at Rhu made an ‘eggxciting’ discovery in the playground earlier this term. Imagine our surprise when we found a giant nest with an enormous egg inside! On researching eggs, taking advice from our resident palaeontologist, dissecting droppings and reading lots of books, we thought it could be a dinosaur.

In co-operative learning groups we have collated information about dinosaurs, and flying and swimming reptiles, creating our own fact files.

As the topic comes to a close, we have used all of the evidence and made our own informed decision as to the possible identity of our mystery playground visitor.
