Pupils in Castlehill Primary had a busy week carrying out various activities to help raise money for Children In Need.
On Tuesday the P7s held an ‘All Day Beetle Drive’ where they invited each of the classes in the school to play ‘Beetle’. Great fun was had by all!
This was followed on Thursday, with P4, P5, P6 and P7 taking part in a ‘Talent Show’. The rest of the school, along with friends and families, then voted for their favourite act[s] by giving a small donation. The ‘Baby Pipers’ turned out to be the most popular act of the day, but we have to say congratulations to everyone who took part, as they were all brilliant.
In the afternoon, the senior classes held a Bring and Buy Sale which was an enormous success, with many of the pupils going home with ‘bags’ of goodies! Thursday was also a non-uniform day, with many of the pupils dressing up as Super Heroes, which was the theme for this year’s Children in Need.
All in all, the school raised £794.47 for Children in Need. Well done everyone.
