HEALTHY BODIES AND HEALTHY MINDS AT ROSNEATH!

Rosneath Healthy Bodies 6What a busy and exciting week for learning!

Eileen Kay delivered more “Respect Me” workshops.

SSPCA reminded us to look after other animals as well as our pets.

School Food Day complemented our Health Week with our Catering Staff providing a delicious Scottish themed lunch celebrating our wonderful Scottish food (including our P4/5/6’s “eat what you grow” potatoes and broad beans), all pupils thoroughly enjoyed a food tasting Assembly and participated enthusiastically.

Rosneath Healthy Bodies 2Our “movers and groovers” danced themselves dizzy in our P7/6 led Exercise sessions, we had a Boogie Bounce going on (it’s great what you can do on a trampoline!) and we ate an apple together on the Wednesday.

Rosneath Healthy Bodies 5Rosneath pupils love learning actively together in a fun, exciting way. We take our School Values very seriously (fairness, respect, honesty and caring) and were very proud to show our caring side when we collected “a huge mound” of supplies for the Milton Animal Home.

Mrs Watson & all the children in P3/2 would like to thank everyone for the fantastic amount of donations for the SSPCA. We had a great day learning how the charity helps injured and unwanted animals.
We will be taking all the donations to our local animal shelter at Milton.
