On Wednesday the 4th February Castlehill’s P7s held a Beetle Drive in the gym hall. All the classes came for a half hour to play games of Beetle. On Tuesday the P7s went round the classes and showed them how to play Beetle. Every pupil paid 50p and the total amount raised was £82.22 and will go towards the P7 trips to Ardentinny and Edinburgh.

P7s will be doing a total of four fund raising events for their trips. We would like to thank everyone who took part and hope you had a fun day.

Beetle Drive Report
On Wed 4/2/2015 P7s at Castlehill Primary School held a beetle drive for P1, P1/2, P2, P3, P4, P5 and P6 to raise money for our trip to Edinburgh and Ardentinny. We raised £82.22, each pupil paid about 50p and there are about 182 pupils in the school. For the beetle drive we had two P7s and two pupils from whatever class was doing it, at each table. The rest of us were walking around helping and taking pictures. Beetle drive is a game which you have to roll a two and a one to begin then you can get eyes (4), legs (6) etc. We’re going to do three other things to raise money for our trips, so look out for future reports.

P7s Beetle Drive
On Wednesday the 4th of February Castlehill’s Primary 7s held a Beetle Drive for the whole school. They held this event for all the children to come along to and each child paid 50p. All the money that we made will go towards the Edinburgh and Ardintinny trip. In total we raised £82.22 and are very grateful of everyone who put money into the fundraising jar. We are now going on with three more fundraising activities for all the boys and girls to come and pay a little money to join in all the P7 fun. We thank everyone for coming along to our Beetle Drive and hope that Castlehill Primary enjoyed it.
