Dalintober’s Mini-Olympics

Dalintober PS held a Mini-Olympics event on Wednesday 28thJune.   Primary 7 organised the event with the help of Mr Kupris from Active Schools.  All the pupils in the school were divided into one of five countries – Great Britain, Greece, China, Spain or Jamaica – and wore colours to represent each country.

It was quite a wet afternoon but the showers didn’t spoil the fun too much!   Dione from P1 carried the torch and the procession was piped down to Kinloch Green by Rachel and Jacques from P7.   There were lots of fun events including volleyball, hurdles and shot putt.

The points were very close with Spain winning ahead of Jamaica by only 50 points!

Thank you to everyone who helped and came to cheer the teams on.
