First Communion Celebration at St. Mun’s

The sun shone on Saturday, 31st May, as 7 children from Primary 4 made their First Holy Communion.

The children, under the watchful eye of their teacher Miss L. O’Kane, delivered a beautiful, well prepared Mass to a packed church, full of friends, family, parishioners and staff and children from the School and sang beautifully as they invited everyone to, ‘Come And Join The Celebration’.

Father Sandy, our Parish Priest, thanked everyone who had worked tirelessly to prepare the children for their very important day and thanked Primary 5 pupil, Natasha Peter, for her faultless singing of the Psalm.

After the obligatory ‘photo shoot’ everyone was invited back to the Parish Centre for tea and cake. Mrs L. Fisher, Head Teacher, thanked everyone for their support and then invited two of the children to cut the specially made cake, which they will share with their class mates back at School.

A lovely end to a beautiful day.
