CHIEF CHEBE VISITS KILMODAN

As part as our Commonwealth topic, we invited Chief Chebe from Ghana to visit. Cheerful Chief Chebe arrived to a welcome of Ghanaian songs and colourful banners. The day started with some tunes on the African xylophone, which some of us even got to play. Next we did some thunderous drumming on the djembe drums. After a while we had to stretch our legs, so we did some African dancing to the beat of the drum. Then we had a traditional African story which taught us to respect our own judgement when making decisions. In the afternoon we made our own drums and then we learned how to play the traditional African game called mancala. Everyone had a great day!

  1. Loved article from Kilmodan about Chief Chebe from Ghana. We too in Rockfield Primary P4 are looking at Ghana as part of our Commonwealth IDL.
Can you tell me how to get in touch with Chief Chebe?

    With many thanks
