CHRISTMAS CRAFT EXTRAVAGANZA
Port Ellen Primary hosted their annual Christmas fair on Saturday, a chance to have fun, meet friends, buy home made goods and meet Santa. Despite being in the middle of panto fever the school produced a great showing of goods and prizes for visiting friends and family.
From the classes we had bird food, up-cycled diaries, bags and bracelets, wooden stars and candle holders, soaps and bath bombs, and jams, jellies, cupcakes and mosaic mirrors,
We had fabulous donations as always from the local community and businesses and the Tombola did very well. Annie Farrell in primary 6 made the guess the weight of the Christmas cake as part of her Endeavour project.
Thank you to everyone who helped out on the day and contributed to a very successful event, we raised over £2,000 for school funds!
