Welcome to our school. Girvan Primary is a non-denominational school that shares the name of the town it’s situated within.
The school sits in the middle of the town within the old Girvan Academy building. Previously set over multiple buildings in the town, Girvan Primary came together for the first time in our current site in 1992.
The school is situated in large grounds consisting of mainly tarmac and grassed areas. However, there is a lovely hidden outdoor quad space where the children can enjoy some quiet time amongst the trees and take their learning outside. Additionally, there is an exciting new build on the horizon that will look to further enhance the learning and teaching environment for our children.
Girvan Primary School is a happy, kind and welcoming place to learn. Working together as a school community – children, staff, parents, carers and partners – our aim is for everyone is to attain and achieve their very best.
Our values of: Ready – Respectful – Safe – underpin all that we strive to achieve at Girvan Primary. We aim to support every learner, everyday and offer a wide range of interventions that are delivered daily by a highly skilled and dedicated team.
Our local community is very supportive of our school and there are many opportunities for you to engage with school as a volunteer or as a member of our parent council.
We look forward to welcoming your family to our Girvan Primary School family.
