P2 Home Learning- Tuesday 16th of June

IT’S SPORTS DAY!!

Time to get yourself warmed up, put your running shoes on and get the stop watch out! Remember to choose 6 activities to complete and send in your results by the 22nd of June. There will be a forms link send to you by group call.

I know this sports day is a little bit different from previous years, but it is still great fun to get involved. You can even challenge people at home to get involved too!

Here is a little video of some of the activities Miss Morland has chosen to do.

Information about all the sports day activities can be found in the document below:

Activity Instructions – Virtual Sports Day

Please continue to follow the literacy and numeracy tasks in your home learning pack.

Miss Morland and Miss Craig will both be in school this week so we will reply to emails as and when we can. We will not be able to do any phone calls this week but we look forward to seeing you all next Wednesday for a final goodbye before the summer holidays. If you would like a phone call before this time, please email the school and we will get in contact with you as soon as possible.

Good luck for you sports day challenges today and we look forward to hearing how you have all got on!

Miss Morland and Miss Craig 🙂

P3 16.6.20 SPORTS DAY!

Good morning everyone! IT’S SPORTS DAY!

We hope you will enjoy a day of sporting activities – hopefully some other members of your house will get involved – maybe there are other Windyknowe children in your street or close by that you could compete against (at a safe distance)! Across the road is a fab way to introduce some friendly competition!

You will find everything you need on the front page of the blog as well as today’s teacher challenge! We wonder who it could be?

Send in any videos or pictures that you take so we can see you all having great fun!

Thank you to RM for sending in her work from yesterday – don’t you all think it is fabulous!

WS was busy yesterday making a poster for sports day! Can you all guess his sport?

Finally, thank you to SK for her book recommendations!

TG also recommended some books on the blog – The Dogman Series by Dav Pilkey and the diary of a wimpy kid series by Jeff Kinney. Both are amazing and fab stories.

Thank you to everyone for your continued hard work!

We miss you lots and are so hoping to see some of you soon!

From Miss Foote, Mrs Settle and Mrs Welsh
