Good morning Primary 1!

Here we are near the end of term. It’s been such a fast year! Mrs Messenger, Mrs Cook and Miss Hendrie are looking forward to seeing you this morning in the front school playground between 10am and 12:00 in you can make it. Your teachers have really missed seeing you in person over the last few months!

We are so proud of all of you for working hard throughout the year and being an amazing P1 year group! We have really loved being your teachers and look forward to seeing how you get on in P2.

Tomorrow we will post some fun activities you may want to try over the summer holidays.

Below you will find a link to  video of Mrs Cook and Julianne showing you how to do equal sharing. It turns out that Julianne needs a lot more practise of this! Learning to share equally is the start of learning how to do division. Perhaps you can find some small objects in your house to share equally today.

If you are coming to see us in the playground on Thursday morning please bring your transition passport, reading book and reading record with you. If you have a science bag please return this too. If you cannot make it then, it would be much appreciated if you could hand these things in to the school office anytime this week. If you did not collect your child’s work and gym shoes last Monday please collect them on Thursday morning. Thank you.

Have a lovely day everyone!

Good morning everyone!

We hope that you have been enjoying getting active this week!

Below are today’s activities and a video of Mrs Cook demonstrating the life skill of how to wash your dishes after you have eaten your lunch. Perhaps you can help to wash some dishes today!

We are looking forward to seeing you next Thursday morning between 10am and noon. Please look out any reading books, reading records or science bags that you may have at home so that you can bring them with you on Thursday. Completed transition passports can be brought in then too.

Below we have a healthy sandwich that EP in 1c made for her Mum’s lunch. I think you will agree that it looks really yummy! We also have an excellent Star Wars Lego model designed and made by TO in 1c.

Enjoy your day!
