Parker: I have been enjoying topic learning about WW2 and doing literacy, writing, health and numeracy. In numeracy we have been doing subtraction sums.

Taylor: i enjoy having the money books and buying rewards with our money and you can also charge people to use your pencil’s and other things. This is part of our financial education work.

Erinn :  Today we all reviewed and compare the 2019 and 2018 John Lewis advert in writing and I loved it!!

Eva: Today in Health we did happiness and what it means. We learned about coca beans! We found out what life is like for children who work on the coca that makes your chocolate.

Drew, “I have liked learning about WW2, especially finding out about Anne Frank.

Ali, ” I have enjoyed cross country in P.E because it has been a lot  of effort. I enjoy running and managed to increase my number of laps this week.”

Maddi, ” I have enjoyed learning about how WW2 started. We have been using the internet and books to research in small group.”

Grace, “I really, really enjoy art so I liked making poppies. I have enjoyed researching during our topic time.”

Nathan, “I have been enjoying watching clips of WW2.”

We have been working very hard in all areas of the curriculum over the last couple of weeks. In numeracy we have been working on place value, in literacy we have been revising VCOP and how it can help to improve our writing. Here are some of our highlights:

“In French we have been learning some Harry Potter vocabulary. As part of the European Day of Languages we visited P3 and P4 to play a number game in French and we showed super leadership skills at this time,” Aaron.

“P6cs have enjoyed developing skills through Hockey in P.E,” Roslynn.

“We have been working hard on our show. We are managing to stick to our timings. It’s amazing,” Hannah.

“I can’t wait for the show. I hope everyone enjoys it when they come to see it. The songs are my favourite part,” Drew.

“I am so happy I got the part I was hoping for,” Parker.
