We went outside for our latest, very messy, volcano experiment.
Nursery Assembly
We are planning to have a whole school assembly led by the nursery at 9.15 on 26/2/16. However the gym hall/assembly hall is being decorated and if there was any delay in their progress our assembly date may have to be changed. This is unlikely and we will know for certain next week when we will send out the proper invitations. Just thought we should give you a heads up in case provisional arrangements need to be made.
Stay & Play
Our next Stay & Play date is Thursday 3rd of March. As always it would be great if you could make it. We will be listening to your opinions about having the Stay & Play at the end of the session instead of at the start.
We arranged to meet with the Fire Safety Officer recently to review our provision for buggies in the corridor as we are aware how tricky it is for mums/dads/carers. However, he remained firm that the corridor is a fire exit and as such cannot be compromised so no buggies can be allowed in our nursery corridor or cloakroom area. Thank you for your understanding on this issue.

We are performing ‘Three Craws’ at the special Scottish Assembly on Friday 29th January (a.m. group only). We are planning to perform it again for parents on Tuesday 2nd February. The performances will take place at 10.50 and 2.50. in the nursery and are bound to be pretty impressive. We ask that the a.m. group parents/carers come in the main entrance as the infant classes will still be having their playtime. We have attached a copy of the words to the song for your interest (a copy was also put in your child’s pigeon hole previously).
