New Resources
Cabaret Day Fundraiser
Deans Bowling Club are kindly hosting a fundraising cabaret day on May 1st to raise money for Deans Primary Nursery and Livingston Station Playgroup. Tickets will be priced at £5 and are available from the bowling club or can be ordered through nursery staff. It would be great to see some support from parents on the day as it is your children who benefit. For anyone unable to attend any donations for raffle prizes would be very much appreciated and can be given to any member of nursery staff.
Many Thanks

Questionnaire Results February 2016
Questionnaire Results February 2016
Thank you for completing our recent questionnaires. We would like to share the feedback with you. There were 24 returns.
23 out of the 24 returns said they agreed or strongly agreed that our nursery was performing well in all 12 questions.
There were some additional comments like
“I have dealt with a few nurseries and Deans is by far the best nursery I have ever used”.
“I am very grateful”.
“I really appreciate all the staff helping my daughter grow & learn.”
“All staff are friendly and approachable.”
There was one questionnaire return which disagreed or strongly disagreed with 11 out of the 12 questions.
Thank you for taking the time to return the questionnaires, we really appreciate it. It is only by listening to our parents/carers we can continue to grow and improve.
Thank you too for such a positive result. We can assure you we will not ‘rest on our laurels’ but continue to find ways to make the nursery experience even better for you and your child. We consider it a privilege to work with your children and we can honestly say that, although we work very hard, we enjoy every minute.
We have attached the questionnaire to remind you of the questions.
Our Snack Time
We Made Tomato Bread
Today, we made tomato bread, the idea came from the floor book which is all of our ideas. We had to mix the dough until it formed a ball and then we learned about kneading and stretching the dough to help it rise. We had to stand back while one of the ladies put it in the oven. The next day we got to taste our tomato bread for snack!! It was delicious!!
Printing!
In nursery, we have been doing lots of printing. We started using lots of different shaped objects and then we went on to using our hands and our feet. We are going to use our hand and foot prints for our Rights Respecting wall which is under construction in nursery. We have had lots of fun doing this activity and don’t be surprised if we have multi-coloured feet!
