P1 Home Learning Week, activities for 8th-12th June

Virtual sports week and Keeping Myself Healthy

Hello everyone, we hope that you have had a lovely weekend and are ready to take part in the very first Uphall Primary virtual sports week!

Cartoon Sports Day

Over the course of this week there will be two activities posted each day for you to complete and earn points for your team.

As it is sports week, we thought this would be a good opportunity for you to think about ways to keep yourself healthy.

Please select activities from the HWB grid (please do not feel that you have to complete all of these activities, do what you feel is best for your child and your family circumstances).

On your marks,

Get set,

Go!

We have also set you another Numeracy and Maths challenge on Sumdog to revise some of the concepts we have worked on this year.

Remember these activities are for the whole week-not just for today!

Keep in touch with us via the blog and school email to let us know how you are getting on. We hope you have fun.

P1 assembly shout outs

Our P4-7 virtual assembly has just finished, hopefully some of you could join in with your older siblings, if not we thought it would be nice to let you see the slide we created to say a huge well done to two of our pupils for effort and motivation shown with online learning this week.

Planting sunflower seeds-P1

planting sunflower seeds

Have a look at the pictures I took when we planted sunflower seeds at home. They might help you to write your instructions for planting a seed. (Keep them simple though). This is the format we would have used if we were at school.                                                                                                  Mrs McKay
