Lovely to see everyone back after the October holiday. We’ve had a fun week… we celebrated ‘M’s’ Birthday with some treats and this delicious cake that was sent in from ‘M’s’ parents! Thank you to them again. We also had some Halloween fun. Many of us enjoyed Halloween PE and the Halloween party followed by some tasty treats.

Lomond Class
It was lovely that every one of us had a parent or both parents in our class for our recent ‘Sharing the Learning’ event. Thank you again to our parents for coming along.
Some highlights of the past couple of weeks:
We have been exploring with paint and used our motor skills to make some hedgehogs which we’ve added to our Autumn display.
We’ve also been using our motor skills to ‘rescue the toys’ and we’ve practised our cutting skills too.
Most of us enjoyed some sensory play with water and bath salts / bath bombs.
We decorated some biscuits – using our knives to spread the icing then adding some sprinkles.
’L’ has been enjoying doing some new jigsaws. ‘A’ and ‘A’ continue to enjoy building with cubes.
Lomond Class
‘Pitta Bread Pizzas’ were a big hit this week in Lomond Class.
We used our looking and listening skills. We were encouraged to touch, smell and taste. We chose our toppings and practiced our spreading and cutting skills too.
They looked and smelt delicious and must have tasted good too as there was not a morsel left on four plates! (‘L’ took her one home).
Well done Lomond Class.
Tay Class (St. Mary’s ERB)
Climbing, balancing and sharing space with our friends in PE today.
H and M enjoyed dancing to the number song today. ‘Let’s count forwards and count backwards. Move and have some fun!’

A made number block 20 with plasticine.

Exploring our new coloured slime… thanks to Mrs H. for giving us this. There are lots of colours.
