We’ve had a super week in Rannoch! We have started learning about time – to the hour and are getting really good at our initial sounds in our Literacy times. We have also enjoyed time in the Outdoor classroom. Tomorrow…we are making Ham and Cheese toasties…yum!!

This week has been another busy one in Rannoch class….We have learned lots about how to make sums of money in a number of different ways and have shown great progress in knowing our initial sounds during our Literacy time. We have also created some wonderfully spooky witch faces!! Tomorrow…Friday…we are going to enjoy some fingerprint paintings on spooky creatures!

This week we have finished our class tree…looking at the 7 habits…the class thoroughly enjoyed making the tree and are justly proud of the result!

We have also been working hard on our phonics and are making great progress on our initial sounds in our RWInc lessons…

Today we enjoyed our cooking session where we made top hats!

Another super week of learning adventures, and activities, in Rannoch…yesterday we created images of our families through inspiration from the Minion families! The results were super and the children thoroughly enjoyed the painting process! Progress on our work with money continues apace – as does our phonic learning journey with RWInc. Tomorrow we look forward to making sandwiches for our class picnic in our cooking time!

This week in addition to learning about money and continuing with our ‘All About Me’ Topic we have constructed our class ‘Habit Tree’.  Everyone got involved in making our tree come to life!

A lovely week has been enjoyed in Rannoch. We’ve started learning about money and the value of the coins. We have also progressed in our learning of our Set 1 sounds in Read, Write, Inc. The week finished with some cooking of crispy cakes…with marshmallows!

A busy week in class where the boys have enjoyed their literacy and numeracy as well as Art using paints and silky pastels. Our first cookery session is tomorrow morning!
