Dear boys and girls from P4!
What an amazing thing it is being able to enjoy the sun and the long days of light! How wonderful is the Summer and all the outdoor things we can do!😎After completing our tasks, of course!😃
Today, as always on a Friday, we will have Religious and Catholic Education, followed by the Right of the Week pack of activities!
TASK 1 -THE HOLY TRINITY SUNDAY
Last Sunday we celebrated the feast of the Holy Trinity.
Holy Trinity means God, the Father + God, the son Jesus+ Holy Spirit and together they are the one and only God.
We know this is tricky to understand, it is in fact one of the trickiest things there are but it is exactly like that. Every time we talk about the Holy Trinity, we are talking about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit together as one.
Watch this short clip, maybe even twice, to try and understand this a bit better:
We hope you are not more confused but even if you do, don’t worry! God will, in His own time, make it easier for you to understand it!😉
So, now that you are very much informed about The Holy Trinity, we would really like you to try and draw the way you see the Holy Trinity in your jotters or in a piece of paper: remember that Trinity means Three united and that those three are…(You should know by now.)
Really looking forward to seeing your drawings!😃
To finish off RCE for today we have a really nice song with dance about The Holy Trinity – it made us shake and dance, even without leaving our chairs!💃🕺🎶Hope it does the same to you! Here it is:
TASK 2 – RIGHT OF THE WEEK – ARTICLE 42Â
Here you can find the Powerpoint about Article 42. Don’t forget to watch the clip within and to try and complete as many activities as possible! It is all really good learning about the world and the rights every child should be entitled to!

Have a wonderful weekend with your families/carers and don’t forget to help keeping everyone safe!😎😊

Good morning, it’s Friday again! As usual, we are doing Health and Wellbeing and R.E. Remember to join our chat around 10.00am.
You are going to be learning about discrimination. Start by reading the article describing the protests in USA and the world against racism. Next look at the ” What is Racism?” PowerPoint.
Task 1Â Â Create a poster highlighting what racism means and how we can avoid it. Remember to include illustrations and eye catching slogans.
Extension task Research Nelson Mandela who born in 1918 in South Africa and spent a lot of time trying to end apartheid (keeping black people separate from white people and treating them unequally.). Create a fact-file or poster about him.
UKS2 Black Lives Matter Protests Daily News Story
R.E  Our learning this week is based on the Genesis 2 : 18-20. Watch the YouTube clip telling the creation story. God gave us planet earth to live happily on with all the other living things and human beings. We know that God did not want Adam to be alone and said he would make him a suitable helper.
Task 1  Your task is to design a poster encouraging people to protect and look after the environment in a way that would please God, preserving what he left us!
Task 2Â Create a comic strip starting with the creation story and ending with us recycling, reusing and protecting the environment in a way that would please God.
Have a great morning !

Good afternoon Primary 6,
This afternoon we are going to do some more music but first a bit more of our novel study. Â Read the section of the novel then try to complete the activity:
The_Last_Wolf_-_Michael_Morpurgo-6
For music, we’re going to use a section of the powerpoint presentation I’ve used with you in school. Â The tracks are imbedded into the presentation but there should also be a YouTube link for each one if the track doesn’t play when it’s away from my iTunes! Â Use a couple of teaspoons or wooden spoons or felt tip pens as substitute drum sticks (don’t use pencils as you might break the leads inside and ruin them).
Have fun!
