Dear Parents and Carers,

Primary 7 have had another busy and fun week!

In Literacy, we read a passage about JK Rowling and learnt about her life before she became a successful novelist.  Our class researched different authors who experienced similar struggles before becoming famous all around the world!

In Numeracy, we learnt how to add fractions with a different denominator and we practised our ” Rock” tables.

During R.E, we studied the four evangelists and created a fact file about them. We learnt about their individual qualities and attributes. Our class enjoyed our area service where we prayed the Rosary.

This week, we took on the spaghetti bridge challenge and worked in teams to create strong bridges using the triangular structures. We will test their strength next week using a variety of weights.

Some of the P7’s  took part in the West Lothian Cross Country championships and they all performed brilliantly and enjoyed the event.

Congratulations to Olivia who was nominated for our hot chocolate award in our class this week.

Have a super weekend!

Mrs Lea and Primary 7B
