Hi Families of Primary 2A,

We have had another exciting week of learning.

In RE we have been learning about doubting Thomas and the story of ‘The Good Shepherd’. In literacy we learned the magic e sound, u-e. We began to learn how to write recounts and enjoyed studying the recount of ‘My Holiday Diary’. In numeracy we have been learning to multiply and divide by two.

The children really enjoyed planting seeds on Thursday. They are very excited to see if their cress grows and are doing a great job of caring for their seeds by watering them and making sure they have sunlight.

Here are some highlights from pupils in P2A:

Aadya and Vivien – We had lots 0f fun planting seeds.

Rory, Laura and Tadiwa – We liked learning the 2 times tables.

Linda and Jiade – We enjoyed learning how to divide by 2.

Diana – I enjoyed free writing  Friday. I wrote about unicorns.

Huge congratulations to Rory, our hot chocolate winner!
