Hi Families of P2a

We have had another super week. Lots of hard work, awesome learning and fun!

Some of our highlights:

It was Maths Week Scotland and we had lots of fun doing maths challenges. One of our favourite activities was working in teams to make symmetrical pictures, using loose materials.

Linda – Me and Deveena made a beautiful symmetrical butterfly and flowers.

Grace, Caleb and Vivien – We loved making a symmetrical picture with loose parts. We made a face.

Shay – I made an eagle Mickey Mouse.

In topic we learned about Concord and super sonic speed!

Jack – It travels really far in short times.

Ollie – It doesn’t fly anymore.

If you could fly anywhere in the World where would you go? The children loved talking about this and drawing pictures of the lovely places.

Chimamanda – I choose Antarctica. I drew me and my mum there with the penguins and the snow.

Angel – I drew the pyramids because I want to go to Egypt.

Diana – I drew the Northern Lights in Iceland.

We had lots of fun learning the days of the week in Spanish. We learned some cool songs and dances to help us remember these.

Huge Congratulations to Angel, our Hot Chocolate Winner!

Have a lovely weekend!
