P2A Week Beginning 21st March

Hello P2A families!

Here are the learning highlights of the week from the Blue Table:

Paige enjoyed making our space art.  The children used a printing technique to create craters on the moon and a toothbrush to flick paint on for the stars.

Ella like making our Mother’s Day gifts.  I hope all you lovely mothers enjoyed your day and loved the different things your child wrote about you.  A lovely keep sake.

Ollie said he loved learning about Global Goals.  The childrens’ cheers could be heard throughout the school as they heard how the global plan for 2030 is for there to be no poverty, no hunger, no pollution in the sea, gender quality……17 goals in total that will make our world a better place to live in.  We learned how we can play our part in helping achieve these global goals by ensuring we recycle and do not litter.

My highlight was our lesson on Creation.  The children were amazed that God just had to say the words, “Let there be…..” and these things appeared that make up our beautiful world.  We know we need to help take care of God’s beautiful world.

Congratulations to Chiji, our Hot Chocolate award winner for this week and Nathan, our Reading Champaign.
