Primary 7A – Weekly Update

Primary 7a have been very busy with lots of learning taking place this week.  Here are a few of the children’s highlights:

Andrew said he enjoyed learning about the different layers of the Rainforest and Keedie liked finding out about the different animals that live in each layer.  The children should also be able to tell you where in the world you will find rainforests.

Temi has enjoyed making our class ‘compassionate and connected’ tree display.  This shows how we can support each other when things ‘shake our branches’ and who we can turn to, if we need to.

Everyone had fun playing outdoor games yesterday afternoon.  Israel’s favourite part was playing the game ‘Splat’.

Viktoria has enjoyed being creative in art and particularly liked making oil pastel animals.

Zuzanna liked hearing the entries in our class ‘Book of Kindness’.  We are pleased to report, that many of the children have been nominated for being kind this week.

Amelia has enjoyed challenging herself in Maths, where we have been learning about place value to 1,000,000 and multiplying large numbers by tens.

Today is Sarah and Israel’s birthday.  We also have Viktoria’s birthday on Sunday and Luke L’s on Monday.  We hope they all have a lovely time celebrating their special day!
