This week we have been celebrating Scotland Loves Languages Week.  We were making Chinese New Year lanterns.  We played a game called Musical Hellos, when the music stopped we had to find a partner and say hello in a different language.  We got to have a different lanyard each day.  We played a I have Who has game using sign language, this made it more challenging as we had to watch people carefully.  Emily, Myles, Vanessa, Natalia, Marriyah taught is how to count to 10 in Slovakian, Polish, Punjabi and Latvian.   On Wednesday for National Read Aloud Day Fr Simon came in and read us a story.  It was called ‘The 3 Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig’.

Our Learning Highlights from this week are:

Connor – I have learned to play the bowling game in maths.

Natalia – I learned about the Egyptians.

Josh – I learned that Mummies are real.

Aoife – I learned how to play Plinkcode.

Inaya – I have learned to say hello in different languages and I made a poster.
