P3A Learning Highlights Week Beginning 27th January 2020

This week we have been completing the Daily 10 Maths activity to practise rounding and 3 times table.  We have stated to think about our new topic which is the Egyptians.  We filled in a KWL grid and we have lots of things we want to learn.  We finished our SHANARRI topic by creating characters with special skills.  In writing we wrote poems about a dug, a coo or a tod and we had to use Scots words.  With Mrs Ogurno we listened to the poem ‘A dug , a dug’.  We learned the months of the year in Spanish and next wee it is Scotland Loves Languages Week so listen out for us practising lots of different languages.

Here are some of our learning highlights from this week

Sam – I liked learning about the Spanish months of the year.

Josh – I liked doing the Spanish wordsearch.

Daisy – I learned how to say the months of the year in Spanish and it was fun.

Patrick – I liked learning how to round numbers to the nearest 10.

Aoife – I liked doing the KWL grid for the Egyptians.

Nilaya – I liked doing the Daily 10.

Emily – I liked doing the Daily 10 on the whiteboards.  It was fun.

Inaya – We updated our EPortfolios on the IPads.  I learned how to sign in and make a post.
