Curriculum areas and subjects

In Maths, we were multiplying by 4. We used different strategies to help us to figure out the answers. We used equal grouping, repeated addition and 2 times table facts. Some groups also explored how to use the formal method to multiply.

Interdisciplinary learning

We did a design challenge. We had to make a candle that is 15cm high. We also needed to make a flame that can move. It was really hard to make the flame move so we had to try different materials.

The ethos and life of the school

At the Scottish Assembly we got to sing our song, ‘Donald where’s your troosers.’ We were fantastic!
