Wednesday with Primary 3

Today in Primary 3 we got up to a lot! We hope you enjoyed our Healthy Lives assembly as much as we enjoyed presenting it. We will be coming around the classes with feedback forms for your thoughts on the Healthy families, Healthy Lives scheme we ran in school over the last couple of months. We were very impressed with how much you knew when we did the Hands Up survey!

Primary 3 have been looking at time as part of their maths work. We are starting to look at quarter to and quarter past. Our fraction work is helping us learn this. Next time you see us, ask us what time it is, and we should be able to tell you!

We thought about the environment today when looking at the story of The Lorax. This story helps us think about the environment, and we came up with some brilliant questions and thoughts in our topic lesson today. We heard that P4/5 looked at the story of The Lorax today. What did you think? We are looking forward to working with your class throughout this topic.

We are looking at the sound ‘igh’ this week. We came up with some great words with this sound in today. Can P3 comment with the words you came up with?

We really enjoyed reading with Mrs Smith and Miss Lewis today and even used Kung Fu punctuation when reading!
