Primary 1 had a fantastic time at Tesco’s Bathgate on Monday morning. They were learning about what happens in the bakery and they also had the opportunity to hold some shrimps and fish.

We saw the big dough mixer.

 

We got to make our own roll. The baker then put them in the oven to cook them.

We also got to look at the fish counter.

 

We got to hold a fish – this was a very popular activity!

 

In the afternoon there was a special delivery – our rolls. Tracey delivered them personally to us.

 

 

We were very impressed by our creations.

 

Update – feedback from the children was extremely positive.

One child following the fruit and veg tasting session has gone on to learn all about other fruit especially exotic fruits. Do you know what a Jackfruit is?
