What a busy week we have had in Primary 3!

We have been busy working on our Scotland topic and after reading ‘The Lost Prince’ (one of the Hamish McHaggis books) we had a closer look at some leaflets about Balmoral castle, which was in the story. We then worked with a partner and mind mapped all the information we knew about the castle. We used our knowledge of how an information leaflet was laid out to then create our own leaflets about St Columba’s.

Primary 3 are looking at fractions as part of our measure topic in maths and are using time on a daily basis to help construct our timetable together as a class each morning.

We have also been using dictionaries in class to find the definitions of tricky words in our reading books.

We have also managed to earn all the pieces of Mr Potato Head!!!!!
