Primary 3 and the language used in measure

In Primary 3 today we have been learning more about measure and how we can use the language when talking about our maths lessons and our learning. We watched a video about a blue whale, which made us start to think about larger objects and how we could compare or use estimation to look at the length and size of different objects. We set off into our maths stations and some of us were using our new measuring skills to measure our heights and create life size pictures of ourselves. Other pupils were changing cm into mm and the last station were measuring parcels on the smart board using a ruler and weighing them too!

Can any primary three children comment on this and share any other words they have learnt in maths?
