We have had a super week in P2/3 and have enjoyed the fact that the weather has been lovely and we have been able to go outdoors more for our learning.
Tickled Pink –
- We worked really hard on our maths volume activities this week and enjoyed using the water tray to investigate millilitres and litres.
- We using rulers to measure accurately in cm.
- We made different food chains in different habitats
- We started learning about farming.
- We talked about the London Marathon and the difference between marathon running and sprinting – we took part in some running challenges in PE.
- We were delighted to find out in assembly that we were getting new resources for the playground.
- We enjoyed meeting Eden as we learned about what babies need to grow.
- We made our own wee Superworms!

Green For Growth –
- Using time connectives in our writing.
- We found some of the real life problem solving relating to volume quite tricky.
- Putting some of our tricky word cards in alphabetical order.
- To get better at our times tables.
- Make sure we are always kind to each other and use kind words.
- To be responsible when we have NYCOS music sessions.
