Be Your Best

Primary 3/4 – Friday 1st May

We have had a great week in P3/4.  Here’s what we would like to share about our learning:

Tickled Pink (things that we feel went well):

  • We think that during Numeracy we worked really hard. We were doing large sums that took a lot of thinking but we were resilient and finished them all!
  • We also enjoyed doing Rounders during PE on Wednesday. Some of us had never played it before so had to learn the rules. It was lovely getting outside and having fun.
  • Some of us thought that our Rich task yesterday was really interesting. We were making sums by changing the numbers and we kept getting the same answer! It was so cool!
  • We also enjoyed designing our Gala day posters this week. They are all complete and ready to be judged.
  • Lastly we all enjoyed having time to research a children’s author for our writing. We used the Ipads to research facts and then used them in our Information Reports.

Green for Growth (things that we need to do to improve our learning)

  • We have agreed that some of us need to try to finish their work in the time given. Some people are chatting instead of working at our best. This is something we want to improve on.

Our school value award winners for this week are Emma and Grace. Well done!

Have a lovely long weekend everyone!
