Cook school- today we made chicken curry….

image

We enjoyed using Connolly House kitchen to create a spicy chicken curry. Aiste said the temperature was too hot but everyone agreed the coriander and garlic naan bread was nicer tasting than the plain bread! Cezary used chopping  skills on a courgette and Jamie was a great chef showing others how to slice a red onion to add to the cooking pot. A big thanks to Ruby for suggesting the recipe- Mr Haddow loved the taste when he tried it.

Review of the Scottish Schools (Parental Involvement) Act 2006

For Your Information:

As referenced in the Delivery Plan for Education, The National Parent Forum of Scotland (NPFS) are conducting a review into the impact, successes and failings of the Scottish Schools (Parental Involvement) Act 2006 and surrounding policy framework on involving and engaging parents.

The Scottish Government wants to look at how effective that law has been and have tasked the NPFS review team, led by Fiona Nicholson, Vice-Chair of NPFS, to work with partners across education and importantly with parents to assess the impact of the Act, look at how well schools involve parents in what they do and  to develop ideas for how to better involve parents in the life and work of their schools.
