Money Week at the Mill Centre for P 4/5
We visited the Post Office to find out what financial services they provide and then went into the centre to collect data and fill our tally charts in to find out how money was being used by people this morning in Blackburn.

Autumn Leaves
On our mile a day we noticed deciduous leaves blowing around !
We are bringing them into class to identify which tree they have come from.
Parent’s Appointments
P6/7 are looking forward to tomorrow’s parent appointments. Remember that your child can attend the meeting if you are happy for them to so and please look out for all the other things going on in the reception area while you wait!
Parents Meetings
We are looking forward to meeting all of our parents and carers at the Parents Meetings on Friday.
This a great opportunity for us, when you are in school, to gather your views so there will be some “stalls” set up and we ask that you please visit them.
We are encouraging the children to come along with you and join in the meeting, with their teacher; because we believe that they should be part of this discussion about them, but it is up to you.

Farm to fork fun at Tesco!
Today p2/3 took a trip to Tesco to learn more about different food in the run up to health week. We tasted different kinds of cheese, touched fish and visited the bakery where we got to make our own rolls! It was so much fun!
