P3/4 Monday

Monday and it’s the first day of Health Week!

This morning we went outside and practiced golf.  We started to learn about Growth Mindsets! Then in the afternoon we were in the hall for Kurling.

Brooke and Daisy – I enjoyed Kurling.

Faith, Julia and Zuzanna – I enjoyed golf.

Katie – I had good fun today.

Alix and Sophie – I enjoyed putting.

Olivia –  I enjoyed learning about Growth mindsets.

Demi-Lee – I enjoyed learning that Growth mindsets is about keeping on trying.

We also have a Health Week Home Activity card, which your child will have in their bag.  Children are to try and complete a healthy activity (star jumps, going for a walk, skipping, etc) write it on the sheet and bring it in the next day.

Well done P3/4, what a good day!

 

Smoothies for Health Week! 👍

Every class will get the opportunity to discuss/ sample the fruits as well as discuss the benefits of them. They will see smoothies  get made and of course they’ll all get a taste too!

We Started off today with P1/2 and P6s… We sneaked spinach in them as well as lots of fruit. Adding spinach as a super food will make us all strong! P1/2 said they could feel their muscles grow already by drinking the spinach in their smoothie! We all agreed that they were delicious!  The empty cups showed that this was definitely the case…

Health week next week!

We are looking forward to Health week next week.

Everyone should have received a letter all about it but for those who haven’t or as a reminder click the link above to see it.

Pupils can come to school dressed in sports wear next week if they wish.  Shorts and t-shirts will be needed every day.   Some activities will take place outside, weather permitting.
