P4/5 at cook school this morning…
Rememberance Day in P6/7
Our whole school took part in today’s two minute silence at 11 o’clock. P6/7 spent the morning listening to The Last Post, learning about why it is important to wear poppies and discussing the poem “In Flanders Fields”. We know how important it is to never forget what others gave up so we could be free. May they rest in peace.

Collaborative Learning P6/7 & P1/2
P6/7 were working collaboratively with P1/2 today. P1/2 have been reading a book called Paper Dolls by Julia Donaldson and now we are working together to make paper dolls. The P6/7 buddies did a fantastic job of helping the infants colour their dolls and helping them decide on a new story ending. Next week, we’re going to cut out our dolls and use our buddy skills to help create and write new stories about them. We had a great time and showed how mature and helpful we can be when we work with our buddies. Look out for next week’s update!!
Plotting against the King in our drama this week in P5….
Ross said it was fun and we learned lots of history facts at the same time.
Robbie enjoyed creeping around and moving suspiciously like Guy Fawkes would have done.
Lauchlin was great at role playing his part as a member of the Houses of Parliament and gave an interesting speech in support of King James.
The conspirator team came up with a good way of escaping for a while……..
