Hi Everybody. I hope you all had a great February break. Still no snow. Lots of hard work to be done between now and the Easter holidays. Looking forward to getting started, and of course, we have the long awaited school camp! It’s going to be all go. Let’s get busy!!

 We gave P5/6 great feedback on their Chinese New Year performance.

Kai L says we loved your performance,Dionne says you were all very clear.

P5/6 have been studying Robert Burns in our drama session this week and looking closely at his poem Tam O Shanter. We even invited P2/3 as an audience to feedback comments on our performance on Monday. A big thanks to Mrs Paterson who filmed our performance so we could evaluate the sequence of the poem for our flow charts in Tuesday’s writing lesson. We even used keywords for our spelling cards this week look at our 3D words!

Here is Mrs C’s Maths set looking very active and getting down to a measure challenge in various areas of the school this week. Lucy said i liked working in pairs. Lewis said I can use my plates to measure Perimeter.

What an amazing trip ! We learned so much ….. we were introduced to BIOMES and wandered into the arctic, the oceans and even a rainforest! Mrs Doolan was brave on our 4D flight with Doctor Jane and the ‘Eagle’ pilot.Katie Jane said it was amazing and Indianna said the show dome was great. Natalia and i enjoyed the Reduce Reuse Recycle Workshop especially when we got to use electronic voting pads.

Rehearsals for TV AAL went really well today for our VSE presentation on the 21/1/14. Thanks to Niamh for helping out as Calum was absent !
