Louise Scoular made us all proud when she became the first Our Lady of Lourdes pupil to win Blackburn Schools have got Talent. We were second last year. Louise completely dazzled the crowd with an amazing, very modern highland dance. With great athleticism she performed a range of cartwheels and somersaults during a most energetic dance. Superb!
Evie and Rio sang a song from Frozen with great gusto and drama enchanting all the audience with their confidence and talent.
Andrew, who has only been playing the trombone for a few months, also showed what a talented musician he is going to become. I know Mr French has been saying how quickly he has learned. Andrew also sang along with his dad’s ukulele band during the interval encouraging the crowd to join in with a sing-along .
I am so proud of all 4 pupils who have shown themselves to be such effective contributors. If you were there please comment on how well they did…

P2/3 What we’ve been learning!
Today we had great fun during Outdoor Learning with the parachute. We talked about the patterns on it and what 2D shape it was.
Then we all crowded inside to make a mushroom. Sean suggested if we all move in it will make a higher shape… AND IT DID! Great fun!
