Well Done to our Champion in School-James Millar
After a last minute inclusion into the Commonwealth Games James has done us proud and won a bronze medal in his sport of Judo. He was a big inspiration last term and encouraged the pupils in the upper school to set themselves goals they could work towards. It is super to see him realising his own goal of a Commonwealth Medal!

The Queen’s Baton Relay
The sun shone as Mrs Paterson proudly carried the Baton through Whitburn High Street on Sunday.It was super to see so many staff ,parents ,grandparents and pupils all coming along to support Mrs Paterson.
Cracking construction skills in P5/6….
Indian Art explored……
This week in P5/6 we have been creating and designing some paisley patterns,looking at Mendhi decorations and writing a script for our Rajhastani Puppets. Kym and Natalia also led a peer workshop on how to make a powerpoint using slides on different aspects of Indian Culture. We are hoping to use this class generated powerpoint in our Commonwealth Show next week.
Gala Quiz Team 2014
What a team of confident individuals represented us on Tuesday evening in Murrayfield Primary at our annual interschool quiz. Just 2 points between us and the winners Blackburn Primary this year made all the parents ,staff and pupils that came along to support our team very proud!
