Active Maths in our set this week….
Our maths set this week are trying out some of our interactive resources on our smartboard in Learning Threes.
We are trying to speed up our basic skills of multiplication with the game Dice Connect .It has become very competitive!
Commonwealth Baton arrives in the British Isles…..
As part of our Commonwealth Supporters Team some pupils in P5/6 have created signs to cheer Mrs Paterson on when she takes to the streets of Whitburn on Sunday 15th June and carries the Commonwealth Baton.
We enjoyed a new taste sensation in P5/6 this week….
Christopher said the Chapattis were delicious and would have been good with ghee(BUTTER).
Lewis said go ahead and try these Indian breads they were really good!
Strider Squad Success
AAL group are organising a Walk to School Challenge
P5/6 are running a Strider Challenge for all classes next Friday 23rd May 2014 to encourage everyone to be more active and experience walking 200m just like Mrs Paterson will do with the Commonwealth Baton in June!
