Hello Primary 3 from baby Luna!

Hi Primary 3!

I hope you are all staying safe and enjoying your time at home with your families! I know I am!

Since I last saw you all there has been a lot happening, I now have 2 teeth at the bottom and I am enjoying trying lots of new foods that I can chew – right now my favourite is mince and potatoes!

I have also learned how to run around in my walker – it’s so much fun trying to catch my big brother!

The lady came to weigh me recently and I am now 21 pounds! I’m getting very heavy for my mum and dad now.

I still haven’t quite mastered how to say mum yet but I have learned how to clap my hands and hopefully next time I see you all you can sing “if you’re happy and you know it” and I can show you!

I miss you all and hope to see you soon!

Lots of love,

Baby Luna xx

Words of reassurance re home learning

Dear parents and children,
These are challenging times and although we are trying to keep routines in place, please don’t feel that you have to stick exactly to the school timetables that are in Teams or supplied by teachers.  We just want your children to be safe and as happy as possible during this time and we know that can mean something different for everyone.  Learning takes lots of forms and doesn’t always require pencils and jotters.  Please feel free to do other things during the day with no worry that it has to be the tasks we have assigned.  If you want to bake cakes etc then please do so. Those on TEAMs just try and drop in every now and then to say hello.  But, it’s also fine for children to be online working/chatting with their class following the timetable every day- just do what is best for you.
The TEAMs are very busy just now and there are still glitches due to the amount of people trying to access it – please don’t stress about this.  Please! Hopefully it will be resolved soon.
Best wishes
