As part of our Commonwealth Supporters Team some pupils in P5/6 have created signs to cheer Mrs Paterson on when she takes to the streets of Whitburn on Sunday 15th June and carries the Commonwealth Baton.

I hope mrs Paterson likes the banners
I am so honoured that you have taken the time to make the banners for me. This one is fantastic -what a lot of work! This is a very special time in my life for many reasons. To be nominated in the first place completely amazed me and then for all the different support I have had from the classes makes it doubly special. I don’t regard it as me carrying the Queen’s baton -it’s for the pupils and staff. Thank you everyone.
I just hope it doesn’t rain like it is at the minute!
Go MRS PATERSON! We have made you supporter banners and some supporter sunglasses too hope you enjoy carrying the baton on Sunday
