Ogilvie School Campus…'Working together to celebrate every unique success’

December has been a very busy month for Class 3. We have been talking about Christmas, listening to Christmas songs and playing festive games.  We have made a lot of Christmas decorations and cards to give to our loved ones. We really enjoyed the pantomine and our trip to the cinema to see the Frozen 2 movie. We also loved a visit from Elsa, the reindeer, and we all had a chance to take a photo with her. The highlight for our class was to meet Santa in his beautiful Grotto and get a present from him, as we all have been very good this year!

Class 4 have been working hard this term to build relationships with our friends and adults in class, get to know our class and school routines and participate in lots of new learning experiences.  We hope you enjoy having a look at some of the things we have been busy doing.

Class 1 have been learning about The Christmas Story.  The children have been exploring picture books, playing with the Nativity characters, learning songs and exploring related costumes. Have a look at our photo gallery…..

Class 1 have enjoyed a range of Scottish experiences in preparation for St. Andrew’s Day.  Enjoy our video.

Dear Parents,

I hope you have enjoyed the summer break and had fun!  The school is starting to come alive again with members of staff preparing for the pupils returning next week. To support some of the pupils there is a Social Story attached to this post which you can read to your child over the weekend to help them understand that school will be open as of Wednesday for pupils.

 

Enjoy the last week off and I am looking forward to seeing P6 pupils next week.

The Penguin class had great fun at Mill Farm today.  We loved seeing all of the animals, riding on the train and most of all playing on the trampolines and at the park.  We had a really great day!
