An information evening for Primary 7 parents/carers will be held at Broxburn Academy on Wednesday 29th May at 6.30pm.

A reminder to parents/carers who have children beginning school with us in August 2019. We will be having an information evening at Kirkhill Primary School on Wednesday 29th May at 6.00pm. This evening is to give you as much information as we can about the school and what’s in store for your child starting Primary 1 after the summer holidays.

We look forward to see you all on Wednesday.

We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow at our annual Sports’ Day. Primary 1- Primary 3 ( including Primary 3s from Primary 4/3) will begin their races at 9.30am.

Primary 4 ( including P4s from P4/3) – Primary 7 will take part in their races at 1.30pm. Both events will take place on the grass pitch next to the MUGA at Kirkhill Primary school.

This is all weather dependent and we will reschedule if it rains too much.

Remember to bring along your running shoes as you might get a chance to compete too!

Tomorrow to celebrate World Book Day we will be engaging in lots of activities. Each class will have ‘Breakfast with a book’ where children can bring in a book/comic/magazine from home to read and will be provided with some wholemeal toast.

Children can also bring in a teddy from home to read ‘to’/with.

Diane the librarian will be visiting the school and reading to some classes throughout the day.

Classes will be accessing World Book Day website for videos with authors, extracts of new texts and lots of fun activities.
