Electric cars!

In STEM, primary 6 were working hard to create 3D tuk tuks as part of our India topic.  First, the pupils each drew an exploded isometric drawing to show which components were needed, then they built the frame using wood.

The tuk tuks looked fantastic!

Then, one member of of the class, had a genius idea! “Why don’t we make them electric?!” So that’s exactly what the class did.

Using their knowledge of electricity, learned in P6, the pupils created a simple circuit to power their cars.  Today, we took the working electric cars in to the dining hall and raced them!
