James Young Learning Festival –

Friday 24 th February 1.30 to 3.00 p.m. @ Crofthead Community Centre

2017-02-17-learning-festival-flier

This follows on from the very successful ‘Learning Support’ festival held last year. This year’s focus is numeracy and there will be lots of tips on how you can support your child/ren at home with numeracy. Dedridge are going to provide information on how to link stories with numeracy, following on from work we are undertaking in class.

The time of the event is 1.30pm – 3pm at Crofthead Community Centre. This is a drop in session and so you do not have to stay for the full time. There will be a free raffle ticket for everybody attending with some very exciting prizes. Children from Dedridge will also be given a free raffle ticket from the ‘story corner’ which will enter them into a free draw for a prize from Dedridge. Please support this event as it promises to be a very informative afternoon.

We hope to see you there.

P4 Trick Shots

In Primary 4 we have been inspired by ‘The worlds craziest trick shot’ which we watched on Newsround.

We decided that we could apply our knowledge of forces and make our own with various materials and tennis balls.

We went outside and made these videos.

Dedridge Primary Phone Lines

Unfortunately, we are experiencing difficulties with our phones and cannot receive incoming calls.  The Groupcall contact for your child will have received a text today that they can reply to if they need to get a message to us.  We will update everyone once phone lines are up and running again.
