This lot are all ready to see what tomorrow brings. I wouldn’t normally allow my pupils to sit on the table but, for now, I’ll allow it!!
Baking in Class 2
The pupils in Class 2 have really enjoyed exploring the training kitchen this term! We have made play dough and shortbread so far… both went down very well with the pupils!
Scotland topic in Class 2
Throughout January, the pupils in Class 2 have immersed themselves in our Scotland topic. The pupils have enjoyed exploring Scottish stories and books and are learning different things about their home country and the Scots language everyday! Our topic book display has been very popular!
We we have also been learning about thistles, tartan and Scottish cities and we can now locate Edinburgh on a map.
We we have also created some lovely tartan paintings!
We are looking forward to learning more about where we live and maybe even speaking some Scots language!
Children in Need
Class 2 engaged in some fundraising for Children in Need by taking part in a sponsored Space Hopper Marathon!!
The children in Class 2 raised over £30 for the charity. With a special well done to Hayden who raised £25! Here he is, looking proud with his certificate!

The children in Class 2 took part in a sponsored Space Hopper Marathon to raise money for Children in Need.
H raised £25 for Children in Need through sponsorships. Here he is with his sponsorship form looking very pleased with himself!
