Primary 6W were very busy this afternoon. We had our very own production line going on and everyone had their own job to do. Some people were making the outside walls for our castle, some were making panels for our chairs to turn them all into thrones, others were painting wooden panels for the great hall and some were building chains for the draw bridge. We can’t wait to see the finished results! 
Today is Internet Safety day so Primary 6W have been learning about how to stay safe online. We had some fantastic discussions about using the Internet and Social Media and about keeping ourselves safe. We looked at how easy it was to make changes pictures and to make them look real. We also acted out some positive and negative scenarios.
As part of our Magic Castle topic we have all been making our own information booklets. We have been carrying out research about castles and we have the responsibility of deciding what we will include in our own books.
Primary 6W have their own blogging wall. We are using the Notifications section to make suggestions about what we want to include on the school blog. We have also created profiles of ourselves so that visitors to our class can get to know us a bit better.
Primary 6W have worked very hard on their homework projects creating different types of castles. They also made up fact files and power points about Concentric, Stone Keep and Motte and Bailey Castles. They then presented them to the rest of the class.
We can’t wait to start the Magic Castle topic in January!
