Fidget Spinners in P6W
Primary 6W have embraced the Fidget Spinner craze today.
- We have been Chief Inspectors for the day and solved Maths problems to work out who the Fidget Spinner muddler was.
- We answered questions about the history, origin and workings of Fidget Spinners.
- We came up with some arguments for and against them being banned in schools
- Then we designed our own Fidget Spinners.

Primary 6W Homework Projects
Primary 6W have been working very hard creating fact files and designing islands for their Caribbean homework projects. We are now presenting our work to the rest of the class. We have some very creative boys and girls in P6W.
Primary 6W Junkanoo
We have been learning about the Junkanoo festival which takes place in the Bahamas. It is a festival to celebrate the end of slavery. During the celebrations people wear beautiful, bright costumes and head dresses . We have designed and created our own Junkanoo head dresses.
Caribbean PowerPoints in Primary 6W
Primary 6W have been working in groups to create PowerPoints about the Caribbean. We have carried out research using the internet and we have decided as a group what information we want to include.
A Caribbean Holiday
Primary 6W have been using the laptops to research the cost of a holiday to the Caribbean. They have had to price flights, hotel and excursions for a family and work within a budget.
I can manage money, compare costs from different retailers, and determine what I can afford to buy.

Our Caribbean wall displays are coming along nicely. Each group has been called after a Caribbean island and we are designing our own displays.

Primary 6W have been making Magic Potions as part of our Magic Castle topic. Beware!!!! If you open them you might disappear, turn into an animal or something much worse!

Primary 6W have been making Suits of Armour for Knights that can protect our castle. They look very sinister so watch out!
